Before Bruce Beresford was DRIVING MISS DAISY, he took Dame Edna for a spin in THE ADVENTURES OF BARRY McKENZIE, a film adaptation of the bawdy comic strip in which Aussie yobbo Barry can only inherit money from his late father by traveling to England and spreading the family's intellectual and cultural tradition which includes plenty of beer drinking, brushes with willing and able sheilas, and deploying his one-eyed trouser snake to put out a blazing inferno!
