Severin Films puts the magnifying glass on SHERLOCK HOLMES (review)

After Hammer's THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES, Peter Cushing returned to the role of SHERLOCK HOLMES for BBC's second series - replacing Douglas Wilmer - with Nigel Stock as his Watson for series of eleven cases comprising twelve episodes including the two-part "The Hound of the Baskervilles."  Unfortunatley, only six episodes survive and are presented here along with remaining lost segments recovered from foreign television archives with commentaries and a rare Cushing interview.

Unearthed Films rescues THE ABANDONED (review)

Cult Epics exposes TINTO BRASS: MAESTRO OF EROTIC CINEMA 2 (review)

Yoshie goes to the city to study dressmaking and works part-time in a bar where she meets a handsome businessman.  Unfortunately, he turns out to be a low-level gangster who manipulates her into a life of prostitution.  When one of regular clients falls for her and offers her a new chance at a happy life, it may all be too late for her and she may have to take drastic measures to truly free herself.
