Severin Films puts the magnifying glass on SHERLOCK HOLMES (review)

After Hammer's THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES, Peter Cushing returned to the role of SHERLOCK HOLMES for BBC's second series - replacing Douglas Wilmer - with Nigel Stock as his Watson for series of eleven cases comprising twelve episodes including the two-part "The Hound of the Baskervilles."  Unfortunatley, only six episodes survive and are presented here along with remaining lost segments recovered from foreign television archives with commentaries and a rare Cushing interview.
