The darkest day of horror the world has ever known "dawns" in George A. Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD, the third film in his original trilogy in which the dead far outnumber the living, and the military clashes with scientists on how to deal with the epidemic, finally turning on one another in a gory showdown with the flesh-eating dead.
