Kino Lorber unveils CLOUZOT: THE EARLY WORKS (review)

Before he became known for thrillers like LES DIABOLIQUES and WAGES OF FEAR, director Henri-George Clouzot toiled away as a screenwriter for roughly a decade, learning cinematic grammar and honing his style on a series of melodramas, farces, and musicals of which six are included here along with his short film directorial debut.
