David Hess escaped the LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT and headed for THE HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK for another rapist rampage. Shameless Screen Entertainment have resurrected another Ruggero Deodato classic for special edition Region 0 PAL DVD. Rejected by the censors for its theatrical release in 1981 and cut by nearly twelve minutes for its video release, THE HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK arrives on DVD with 42 seconds scissored by the BBFC. Extras include interviews with Ruggero Deodato and David Hess, as well as video footage of Deodato and actor Giovanni Lombardo Radice meeting with the dreaded BBFC. Fans of the film may want to snap this one up for the isolated score track, the better to hear Riz Ortolani's funky disco tunes. Christian Borromeo (TENEBRAE), Annie Belle (EMANUELLE IN EGYPT), Lorraine de Selle (CANNIBAL FEROX), and Giovanni Lombardo Radice (CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD) also star. See it with someone you loathe!
