Badlands goes punk with THE NEEDLE (review)

Late Russian punk legend Victor Tsoi of the band Kino is immortalized on film as Moro, a young rebel who returns to Leningrad after an absence and discovers his former buddy up to his neck with the local drug trade and his ex-girlfriend a heroin addict under the thumb of a corrupt doctor.
