An American reporter stationed in Prague plans to smuggle his girlfriend out of Eastern Europe with him when he transfers to London. When he is called away on a false tip, he returns to discove that she is missing. His friends believe she has run off and the police warn him not to interfere, but he comes to believe that her kidnappers are responsible for a series of disapperances of young women who all had in common a love of music, a fondness for butterflies, and membership in a mysterious club in this giallo from Aldo Lado starring Jean Sorel, Ingrid Thulin, Barbara Bach, and Mario Adorf.
