Arrow Video puts the bite on THE BLOODTHIRSTY TRILOGY (review)

In the seventies, Toho tried its hand a westernized variation on the vampire genre with specific reference to the Hammer Dracula and Karnstein lesbian vampire trilogy with THE BLOODTHIRSTY TRILOGY.  In THE VAMPIRE DOLL, a man returns from abroad and travels to the countryside to discover that his fiancee is dead but her apparition wanders the night drinking blood.  In LAKE OF DRACULA, an artist's childhood nightmare starts to come true when a coffin is delivered to her lakeside home and those around her start behaving strangely and violently.  In EVIL OF DRACULA, a teacher takes a position at a private girls school where one or two girls vanish yearly and the latest student bodies are turning up a few pints low.
