Umbrella Entertainment toasts THE CHAMPAGNE MURDERS (review)

Suffering from alcoholism and blackouts, playboy Paul Wagner wakes up beside a strangled prostitute while on a trip to Hamburg with his best friend Chris, whose wife decides to use the crime to gain leverage over Paul in a business deal.  When more bodies pile up, Paul wonders whether he is a killer or if someone is setting him up.  Anthony Perkins, Yvonne Ferneaux, Maurice Ronet, and Stephane Audran star in Claude Chabrol's THE CHAMPAGNE MURDERS.
