Kino Lorber sparkles with TOPAZE (review)

John Barrymore and Myrna Loy star in this tale of an idealistic man's loss of innocence and embrace of corruption.  Fired from his position as a teacher for failing the spoiled son of a wealthy baron, Topaze finds himself hired by the same man to develop a curative tonic water.  Little does he know that he has just been hired to give respectability and legitimacy to fraud, and the temptations of wealth and respect from his colleagues may be too hard to resist when he discovers the betrayal.
