Garden Thieves Pictures presents BLOOD CELLS (review)

When the family farm goes under during the Foot and Mouth Disease epidemic of 2001 and his father commits suicide, Adam flees to the city in a self-imposed exile of transient jobs and relationships.  When his younger brother calls him to tell him he is expecting his first child, he gives Adam an ultimatum: come home now or never again.  Adam begins the long journey home, confronting his painful past with the temptation always looming to return to his empty but emotion-free existence.
