Film Movement tracks THE TALL BLOND MAN WITH ONE BLACK SHOE (review)

Comedian Pierre Richard, Jean Rochefort, and Mirielle Darc star in this well-loved French comedy from Yves Robert (director of MY FATHER'S GLORY and MY MOTHER'S CASTLE) and writer Francis Veber (THE DINNER GAME and LA CAGE AUX FOLLES).  A bumbling violinist becomes a pawn in an interdepartmental war between two high-ranking secret service agents plotting against one another.  Remade (badly) as THE MAN WITH ONE RED SHOE starring Tom Hanks.
