In actor Chris Lowell's warm and comic directorial debut BESIDE STILL WATERS, Daniel has tragically lost both of his parents in a car accident and seeks to recapture more innocent days with his childhood friends during a weekend get-together at his family's lake house before it is foreclosed. When his first love shows up with a fiance, his friends conspire to help him win her back only for secrets and resentments to rise to the surface as the booze flows and the party games get more aggressive.
