Eureka's Masters of Cinema goes 4K with THE OLD DARK HOUSE (review)

Fast on the heels of the success of FRANKENSTEIN, James Whale showcased Boris Karloff and future BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN star Ernest Thesiger along with starlet Gloria Stuart, Raymond Massey, and Charles Laughton, Lillian Bond, Eva Moore, and Melvyn Douglas in a blackly comic adaptation of the psychological novel "Benighted" about two sets of motorists lost in the Welsh countryside during a storm and forced to take shelter with a very eccentric family with plenty of dark secrets.
