Yakuza film director Tai Kato tries his hand at an adaptation of the much-filmed "The Ghost of Yotsuya" about a drunken, gambling Ronin who betrays his wife for a younger woman from a wealthy family.  The victim of a conspiracy by her husband and his friends and his new bride's family, Oiwa wreaks a bloody supernatural revenge on them in this Toei ghost story.
