The fourth volume of Vinegar Syndrome's The Films of Wakefield Poole series brings two features the director mounted after moving to the West Coast and settling in San Francisco. TAKE ONE is a "docufantasy" in which Poole visualizes the sexual fantasies of a series of gay men in explicit and visually dazzling surreal sequences. MOVING! is a loop featurette Poole approached without much care in order to take care of a cash flow problem that nevertheless made a splash theatrically and on the home entertainment market for if groundbreaking and taboo-bursting sequences. Casey Donovan from Poole's BOYS IN THE SAND headlines the the film.
