Strand Releasing desires FROM AFAR (review)

Fifty year old loner Armando propositions nineteen year old gang member Elder, but the older man only likes to watch.  Elder initially rebuffs him but softens when the older man cares for him when he is beaten in a gang fight.  Damaged by emotional and physical abuse from his father, Armando keeps Elder at distance but the younger man decides to do something about Armando's recently returned father.
