Strand Releasing assumes A BORROWED IDENTITY (review)

When Palestinian Eyad is accepted into a prestigious school in Jerusalem, he encounters bigotry from some of his Jewish classmates but also finds love with Naomi and friendship with Yonatan, a student with Muscular Dystrophy.  As American troops march into Iraq and tensions between Israelis and Palestinians heat up, Eyad finds himself in a smaller version of the conflict as he must choose between his future and the happiness of those he has come to care about.
