Simply Media wishes GET WELL SOON (review)

In this short-lived nineties Britcom from the makers of STEPTOE AND SON (which would be remade over here as SANFORD AND SON), twenty-year-old Roy is checked into a tuberculosis sanatorium after the war to recover and finds his relaxation hindered by the machinations of his roommate, a "merry widow", his mother and absentee father, a fascist roommate (played by DOWNTON ABBEY's Hugh Bonneville), a fey orderly, a prison warden of a nurse, and a soldier who thinks the war is still on.
