Long before THE BOOKS OF BLOOD, HELLRAISER, and NIGHTBREED, Clive Barker was working with his erotic, grisly, and transgressive themes and characters on the stage and in two rarely seen short films. SALOME is an avant-garde telling of the biblical myth shot in the basement of a floral shop. THE FORBIDDEN is closest to HELLRAISER and THE HELLBOUND HEART in its story of an artist whose creations render him vulnerable to the influence of specters both sensual and demonic. Pinhead himself Doug Bradley and HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II's Pete Atkins star along with Clive Barker (giving viewers The Full Monty).
