Michael Caine plays a doctor who sets across Africa to rescue his wife (supermodel Beverly Johnson), a doctor of Ashanti heritage who has been abducted by slavers (lead by Peter Ustinov) before she can be sold to a prince (Omar Sharif). Rex Harrison, Kabir Bedi, and William Holden also star.
