Andy Lau (INFERNAL AFFAIRS), Carina Lau (2046), Tony Leung Ka Fai (THE LOVER), Bingling Li (Jackie Chan's 1911), and Chao Deng (ASSEMBLY) star in Tsui Hark's exciting and suspenseful period thriller DETECTIVE DEE AND THE MYSTERY OF THE PHANTOM FLAME. As the coronation of the first female Empress nears, founding officials and the leaders of ruling clans plot to overthrow her; but there is an even greater danger in the "Phantom Flame" which mysteriously and spontaneously reduces its victims to ashes.
