FANTOMAS RETURNS! to Eureka's Masters of Cinema (review)

Turn-of-the-century pulp master criminal FANTOMAS RETURNS in this dazzling sixties trilogy of French caper films starring Jean Marais as Fantomas and his journalist foe Fandor and Louis de Funes as the bumbling Inspector Juve.  In FANTOMAS, Fantomas uses both Fandor's and Juve's faces to frame them for major heists.  In FANTOMAS UNLEASHED, Fandor and Juve don disguises themselves to prevent Fantomas from getting his hands on a mind control device.  In FANTOMAS VS SCOTLAND YARD, Fandor and Juve pursue Fantomas through a haunted castle where he is extorting the wealthiest men in the world for their very lives.
