88 Films swashbuckles with Jackie Chan in THE PROJECT A COLLECTION (review)

In the first of his big-budget directorial and starring works PROJECT A, Jackie Chan plays a member of the water police battling pirates.  When the unit is dissolved, he must join the land police only to discover a plot from within to leave ships and their cargo vulnerable to plundering.  In the even bigger sequel, Chan leads another elite unit against even more dangerous pirates.  Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung, Maggie Cheung, and Rosamund Kwan star.
