When wandering swordsman Tokijiro kills a man for a local yakuza boss, he feels guilty and honors the dying man's request to escort his wife and child to safety.  Unfortunately, the boss' men are in pursuit to wipe out the man's family line and avenge themselves on the lone yakuza.
