In 1969, experimental filmmaker Pere Portabella shot a documentary on the making of Jess Franco's COUNT DRACULA, although it was anything but a conventional promotional piece, simultaneously an unmaking of the horror filmmaking process and Portabella's own "adaptation" of the Bram Stoker source novel. Also included is UMBRACLE in which actor Christopher Lee wanders through Francoist Spain.
