Widowed, forty-two year old Kata has decided that she wants to have a baby, her married boyfriend refuses but she soon finds her loneliness filled by a juvenile delinquent who very much needs some kind of compassion and guidance in this realist drama for which Márta Mészáros who became the first female Berlin Film Festival Golden Bear winner for director.
