"Based on an atual lie," THE FAREWELL depicts the emotional turmoil of a Chinese family when one of them is diagnosed with terminal cancer, including the Chinese-American granddaughter who has doubts about the family's decision not to tell her grandmother and instead gather for one last reunion under the guise of a wedding.
