Thora Hird and Freddie Frinton star in this early BBC domestic sitcom as a plumber and his nagging wife who always have something to fight about but always make up in the end. Through a pilot and five series, they deal with an out-of-control modern bed, vacation woes, entertaining clients, and dealing with their empty nest.
