Second Run DVD unveils POLISH CINEMA CLASSICS VOLUME 3 (review)

Second Run DVD's third volume of Polish Cinema Classics includes three comic and chilling masterworks about life in the shadow of communism.  In THE CRUISE, a boat trip down the Vistula River turns into a parody of the People's Republic.  In CAMOUFLAGE, a young professor comes under the sinister influence of an older colleague as becomes mixed up in the petty corruption of academia.  In SHIVERS, a boy enters the Polish Youth Association camp and is bullied until he stumbles upon ways to fit in that may cost him his spiritual freedom.
