In the film that SHOWGIRLS only wishes it could be, waitress Michelle takes to the road with small time thief Buz and drifter "Critter" to Hollywood where she hopes to become a dancer at the club where Buz's sister headlines the show. The lopsided love triangle spirals into a web of drugs, corruption, and betrayal as Michelle questions what she is willing to do to take center stage.
