Sarah Kennedy (Stephanie Rothman's THE WORKING GIRLS) plays Alice, a young woman who falls in love with "the world's most obscene phone call" in Nelson Lyon's forgotten 1971 film THE TELEPHONE BOOK, one of the last mainstream American films to receive an X-rating. Determined to find a man she only knows as John Smith, she takes to the telephone book and searches Manhattan only to meet up with increasingly bizarre and sexually perverted characters. Jill Clyburgh (LA LUNA), William Hickey (PRIZZI'S HONOR), Barry Morse (TV's THE FUGITIVE), Dolph Sweet (TV's GIMME A BREAK), and Andy Warhol favorites Ondine and Ultra Violet also star.
