Arrow Video goes to PIECES (review)

It's exactly what you think it is!  Arrow Video's new Region 0 PAL DVD celebrates another film that would never have gotten through uncut in the video nasty days.  Juan Piquer Simon's absurdly gory Spanish slasher - produced by SLAUGHTER HIGH and DON'T OPEN TILL CHRISTMAS' Dick Randall and Steve Minasian - PIECES stars Christopher George  (CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD) and Lynda Day George (MORTUARY) as cops investigating a series of chainsaw dismemberments at a Boston college.  Edmund Purdom (THE FIFTH CORD), Frank Brana (RETURN OF THE EVIL DEAD) and Jack Taylor (GRAVEYARD OF HORROR) co-star.
