Raro USA gets "the rage" with Pasolini and Guareschi's LA RABBIA (review)

Raro Video USA/eOne's NTSC Region 0 DVD of THE ANGER (LA RABBIA) has hit DVD in a packed special edition.  A left-wing filmmaker (SALO's Pier Paolo Pasolini) and a right-wing nutjob "humorist" (DON CAMILLO author Giovannino Guareschi) tackle the question of why "our lives are dominated by discontent, by anguish, by fear of war, by war" in two films made up entirely of footage from newreels and short film (Pasolini's segment is narrated by GARDEN OF THE FINZI CONTINI author Giorgio Bassani).  Pasolini cries out for the proletariat while Guareschi offends any and all pining for Nazis, fascists, the colonies, and decries the permissiveness of cinema and the existence of "the third sex."
