In ADRIFT, young Duyen is newly married and finds that her husband Hai is more interested in his work and his buddies to consummate their marriage (which is just fine with his doting mother). Duyen confides in her writer friend Cam, who secretly desires her yet pushes her into the arms of handsome travel guide Tho. This ill-advised relationship threatens more than Duyen's marriage when a vacation trip to the seaside ends in tragedy.
