Masters of Cinema tells the LEGEND OF THE MOUNTAIN (review)

From A TOUCH OF ZEN's King Hu comes the ghost story LEGEND OF THE MOUNTAIN in which demons and ghosts menace a scholar tasked with copying a sacred Buddhist sutra that allows its owner to navigate the realms of life and death.  Long available only in a version running over eighty minutes shorter, Masters of Cinema presents the film in its orignial three hour director's cut.
