Second Sight finds LOVE ON A BRANCH LINE (review)

Based on the comic novel by John Hadfield, LOVE ON A BRANCH LINE finds mild-mannered civil servant Jasper Rye in need of adventure.  Intending to quit his job and move to Paris to become a painter, Jasper's intentions are derailed when he is sent to the Norfolk border to dismantle a long overlooked statistics outpost housed in a baronial manor.  Seduced by village life and the local aristocrat's three daughters, Jasper starts to have doubts about his mission but there are two statisticians who are also bent on making sure things stay as they are.  Michael Maloney and Graham Crowden star.
