Paramount Pictures canonizes JOAN OF ARCADIA (review)

Joe Mantegna, Mary Steenburgen, Amber Tamblyn, Jason Ritter, and Michael Welch star in this CBS drama from the mid-2000s as a family trying to move on after a tragedy.  When God starts appearing and talking to Joan, she finds herself given tasks without explanation that are intended to help her realize her true nature while maneuvering the teenage experience of school, friendships, and relationships.
