Synapse Films excavates THUNDERCRACK! (review)

Curt McDowell's two-and-a-half hour underground epic THUNDERCRACK! - a pornographic homage to the old dark house films of the thirties and forties - hits Blu-ray in a stacked special edition courtesy of Synapse Films.  Motorists traveling through Nebraska in a torrential thunderstorm wind up seeking the hospitality of a sex-starved and insane hostess, her son's room of kinky sex toys, and an amorous gorilla.  Co-written by fellow underground filmmaker George Kuchar.
