Redemption Films interrogates THE MAN WHO LIES (review)

Jean-Louis Trintignant (AMOUR) plays a man on the run from soldiers who arrives in a remote village in the mountains and seduces the locals with stories about their local resistance hero alternately claiming to have helped him, saved him, betrayed him, been betrayed by him, and even to be his murderer.  Classic Alain-Robbe Grillet mindgames with a bit of Kafka and Borges thrown in.
