Long before he hooked up with that vampire Madonna, Rupert Everett (THE COMFORT OF STRANGERS) was rekilling the living dead as Francesco Dellamorte, the Cemetery Man in Michele Soavi's fourth film DELLAMORTE DELLAMORE.  The residents of the Buffalora cemetery don't stay dead for long and someone has to clean up the mess once they've taken bullets and shoves to the brain.  Anna Falchi, Barbara Cupisti, and Francois Hadji Lazaro co-star.

ArrowDrome in the PENITENTIARY (review)

CHEERLEADERS' WILD WEEKEND's Leon Isaac Kennedy is in the wrong place at the wrong time and winds up in the PENITENTIARY in Jamaa Fanaka's grindhouse classic.  Set up for a murder he didn't commit, the only way for "Too Sweet" Gordone Martel to get out of prison is to fight his way out in the boxing ring.  When his mortal enemy "Half Dead" Johnson (Ernie Hudson, GHOSTBUSTERS) gets out of prison and targets his family, "Too Sweet" must get back into the ring with the training of Mr. T himself in PENITENTIARY II.  Pick up these two in a double feature disc from Arrow Video's ArrowDrome budget line with commentary on the first film by director Jamaa Fanaka.

Scorpion Releasing presents DEVIL'S MEN/TERROR (review)

Scorpion Releasing and Katarina Leigh Waters present a double bill of the UK/Greek chiller THE DEVIL'S MEN (with Peter Cushing and Donald Pleasance) and Norman J. Warren's TERROR.  Young people disappear in the Greek mountains and fall victim to a minotaur worshipping cult.  It is up to an Irish priest and a New York detective to stop THE DEVIL'S MEN.  When a man makes a horror movie about the witch that cursed his family centuries ago, people connected with the production start to meet violent and gory deaths.
