Charlotte Gainsbourg communes with nature... again in THE TREE (review)

Charlotte Gainsbourg (ANTICHRIST) heads back to the forest for Julie Bertuccelli's THE TREE.  Based on the Judy Pascoe novel "Our Father Who Art in a Tree," the film follows a family living in the Australian countryside when the father suddenly dies.  The mother Dawn (Gainsbourg) is left with four children, bills, her own loneliness, and her daughter Simone (Morgana Davies) thinks her father's spirit is alive in the massive tree near their house.  Marton Csokas (ASYLUM) also stars.
